Vapor’s positive vibrations have been resonating towards the people, opening minds and expanding horizons since the project’s inception. A passionate crate digger and music junkie, VE has been shaped by over two decades of being immersed in a variety of bands, underground scenes and movements. Drawing from a large range of life experiences, a heavy dose of nostalgia and a quest for something deeper in this world have all paved the way for the creation of a cut-up sound uniquely his own.

Well known for his energetic live performance sets, Vapor Eyes takes listeners on a fascinating musical journey through beat based sounds. The multi-faceted producer has a body of work that breathes hip-hop and weaves its way into the vast expanse of electronic, downtempo and footwork territories.

Consistently releasing new material, VE recently produced the latest EP Light Work in its entirety for singer/rapper sensation Rich Jones. Also, his new solo album Where the Dyad Lives featuring 12 new songs, was released in April 2018 via Young Heavy Souls. Vapor is also a member of Push Beats, Chicago’s premier beat scene producer & DJ collective, who are host to a monthly party at city hot spot The Whistler.
