Wing Vilma is the title Milicent Coleman has been using for her ongoing musical project of investigation and synthesis since 2017. Sharing her first single since March via Detroit label Young Heavy Souls, the artist offers an intricate experimental track fit for fans of Daisuke Tanabe or Oneohtrix Point Never on  ‘Seafoam.’ 

Featuring her characteristic blend of organic and synthesized sound, ‘Seafoam’ celebrates Wing Vilma’s creative practice and playful approach to music production. She explains, “I wanted to see what would happen if I made an entire song with just one piece of hardware. I was lucky enough to have access to an OP-1 from a close friend and, when writing this piece, I decided to focus on learning more about what this hardware is capable of and what kind of music I am called to create with it.”
