On her creative process, the artist explains, “With Orchid Forest I felt called to merge my aptitude for sparse, ambient looping and textural arrangements with heavy-handed melodies and percussion that would drive the piece forward. Channeling melodic harmony from raw Juno-6 sounds into a Drain Gang-inspired flow, this song feels deeply nostalgic of the early computer music I found as I played video games on the family iMac as a young kid.”
